After winning the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2017, we're excited to announce that we've just won an IF DESIGN AWARD 2018! Nice kickoff to 2018! Regarding the brand name, we will keep Korin as our name cause we love it, and you guys love it too!
Also, our friend NIID just launched their campaign on Kickstarter, we love their convertible concept to carry everyday essentials, their convertible and customizable bags that can be added together, expanded, or used singularly for everyday wear. Hey, backers! Just got back from CES 2018, people love the design language of Korin, and of course, they love the ClickPack design as you do. Thank you guys, thank you so much for your support, the amount our campaign got funded is catching people’s eyes, we appreciate you backing our project! It’s been a long journey for us, we came from nothing to something, but we couldn’t have done that without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! Also, we brought our new products to the booth, the feedback is awesome, people are excited. Our team is still working hard on the new campaign, we’ll keep you posted, they will definitely see you in 2018! :-)
Another thing to mention is we may need to change our name from Korin to Koorein, as we can’t register the name in some areas. It’s really tough for a little startup to make it globally, the first thing that comes up is the name. We didn’t have a comprehensive plan about it from the very beginning so we need to fix it and pay for it right now. It’s a great lesson for us, we learned something from it. But it’s not settled yet, we may change the name, we may not, everything is open and we’d like feedback from you guys, so if you have any name ideas just leave them in the comments below.
Bonus, I met Ryan Leslie in Vegas!!! He was lit!!
